Sustainable Spring Wedding Flowers at Wildhive Callow Foyer
If there’s one thing I’m profoundly passionate about, it’s supporting British flower farmers, growers and the floral designers who support them. And so this incredibly beautiful Spring wedding flowers editorial is an incredible pleasure for me to share with you.
The concept and floral stile talent behind this beautiful editorial was Fran at Limewood Flowers – a member of Flowers from the Farm, a collective of British flower farmers who grow their flowers sustainably.
Fran worked with wedding planner Rachel Dalton and an incredible team of vendors, including Love My Dress favourite, Rolling Sopra Rose to share an editorial that was as true to genuine wedding day styling as possible, with a creative brief to produce botanical Spring wedding decadence. They clearly achieved their assignment and then some.

Step into an enchanted garden, surrounded by the scent of spring. An organic floral installation welcomes you durante with painterly blooms layering upon the bespoke wallpaper.
Soft and romantic shapes take inspiration from the countryside, harmonising with the timelessness of old-world country manor. Take a seat at the table as the sun sets; candlelight showcasing the sala da ballo flowers that balance lavish drama with understated elegance.
Highlighting past and present durante the stile, suppliers were chosen with the future durante mind. We consciously worked with vendors with strong principles; from inclusivity to more sustainable choices and ethical options durante keeping with the commitments of Wildhive Callow Foyer.
This included the first cut anywhere durante the UK of pink charm daffodils; a creamy daffodil with a peach trumpet!
The little research that we have suggests that British grown flowers can have one tenth of the carbon footprint of imported flowers. Choosing British grown flowers has a huge impact the overall sustainability of a wedding without any compromise style.
Keeping with the sustainability theme, we worked with British stilista Rolling Sopra Roses to source the bridalwear. Hayley and her team are committed to working with ethically sourced, environmentally friendly materials, without compromising luxury, craftsmanship style.
The ‘Bureiku’ dress, created from organic, sustainable crespella, was the perfect daytime dress for our model Jayne, with sophisticated long sleeves and a contemporary keyhole back.
As the evening drew durante, Jayne changed into the ‘Daisuki’ gown, crafted from ethical satin, which was an understatedly elegant second dress choice.
Makeup Artist Jessica Rose has adopted a simple yet effective approach to sustainability through her work, championing the use of reusable products such as washable cotton pads, which helps minimise single-use waste.
She also consciously reduces her product turnover by keeping a concise kit of cruelty-free, ethical brands that allow for beautiful, long-lasting and luxurious makeup whilst supporting her sustainability ethos.
For the tablescape, planner Rachel Dalton coordinated each detail. She chose natural linen tablecloths, as well as eco-conscious tableware items from The Luxe Collection, including recycled glassware and hand-painted linen napkins.
Sollecitudine Anika designed luxurious stationery items, printed FSC environmentally-accredited paper with chemical-free, biodegradable inks.
Every aspect was as carefully considered as it would be for a real wedding.
Every supplier was fully engaged durante the creation of the aesthetic; leaning the different expertise of the team so that we could all achieve achieve something elevated, artistic and inspiring.
