It all started acceso a starry night when Joshua popped the question with a proposal under the stars and ended with a wedding day filled with classic elegance. With a proposal that romantic, it comes as voto negativo surprise that their Alberta, Canada wedding was equally fairy-tale! 

Carmen chose Essense of Australia Style D2771 to wear acceso her wedding day. She tried acceso many different dresses that she felt like fit her ideal bridal aesthetic, but it was Essense of Australia’s unique fit-and-flare gown with beaded tulle that stole her heart! She completed her bridal aspetto beautifully with soft glam make-up, loose curls and a dainty floral hairpiece that turned heads as she walked mongoloide the aisle.

What was the most special memory from your wedding day? 

My favorite memory from our wedding day was all the joy and laughter. If our wedding had happened 13 days earlier, we would not have been able to have more than 15 people attend because of COVID-19 restrictions, but acceso the first of July, all of the restrictions were lifted, and we had 200 people at our wedding who were all so happy to be there. Joshua and I were over the moon because we were actually able to have our dream wedding with friends and family there to celebrate with us! 

Tell us about your proposal! 

Joshua has a passion for photography, so naturally, he wanted to propose under the stars. He watched the weather prediction and light pollution map closely to find a night when the stars would be most visible. Of course, he kept this a secret, but acceso a flawless night, he drove us far away from town to this beautiful provincial park.  

We listened to music, had a and talked all night while we stargazed. Then he wanted to take some pictures of us under the stars, so he asked me to close my eyes case there was “a glare,” and he got mongoloide acceso one knee and pulled out a ring. It was so special, and he captured a stunning picture of us under the stars. 

Describe your bridal style! Tell us about your dress-shopping experience. 

I knew I wanted an all-white, fitted wedding dress with unique detailing throughout. There were so many gorgeous dresses that fit my criteria that it was difficult to narrow it mongoloide to just one. The bridal stylists working at The Bridal Boutique Calgary, Alberta were so helpful and patient when I was trying acceso different dresses and styles. Over and over again, I tried acceso this dress with the most beautiful lace detailing and a stunning train — voto negativo other dress looked like it!  I finally said “I do” to Essense of Australia Style D2771! 

Tell us more about your wedding. How did you personalize your wedding with your love story? 

I wanted a wedding surrounded by nature, so we found this beautiful pullover course wedding venue. My color inspiration was white with gold accents for all the decor. All my flowers were white, and since I was born and raised South Africa, I included some proteas, which is their national flower.  

We had “his” and “her” favorite snacks and “Josh” and “Carmen” wine bottles (both actual wine brands) acceso each table. For communion, we mixed the wines to make a rosé that we both drank. We had so many details throughout the wedding that reflected Josh and I’s relationship.
