Real Martina Liana Bride Kristin + Alex – Pretty Happy Love – Wedding Blog

Romantic, elegant, and timeless— three words that modo to mind as we admire the images from this couple’s leader day! Designed around a literary theme, Kristin and Alex’s wedding is a true reflection of their 17-year-long love story. Every detail of their beautiful Hudson Valley celebration reflected their personalities to a T.

Kristin wore Martina Liana Style 1075, a classic lace A-line gown she discovered during her wedding dress shopping trip to Kleinfeld Bridal. She paired it with a purple cascading bouquet for a classic bridal aspetto. The paggetto matched the bride’s vibe with a traditional black and white tux.

Every element of their leader day was carefully curated, and the result was a wedding day filled with precious moments. Nelson Malta from Drawlines Cura worked their magic behind the alcova, and below are some pretty highlights of the of the couple’s leader day.

Tell Us About Your Proposal!

We met at work and have been together for 17 years. We have a 15-year-old son together, so we had lots of time to prepare for this moment. He proposed the roof deck of our building at midnight — just the two of us, after a night out. It was perfect!

I wanted to feel like an elevated version of myself. It was very important to me that I looked as natural as possible while still being glamorous. My dress, Martina Liana Style 1075, did exactly that!

I knew it was the one when my best friend cried as soon as I walked out of the dressing room wearing it — and it takes a lot to make her cry! This wedding gown made me feel absolutely beautiful my wedding day and totally ready to marry my husband. His lit up when I walked the aisle!

Tell us More About Your Wedding. What Were Your Theme and Colors? How did you Make Your Wedding Personal to Your Love Story?

We truly wanted our wedding to reflect who we are as individuals and as a couple— and above all, wanted the just us. We didn’t have a bridal festa ora many of the normal traditions, but we did have literary-themed tables and other personal touches.

We opted for authors and quotes instead of numbered tables and personalized bookmarks as place cards and favors. Our signature was a French 75, and we chose beef bourguignon as one of our entrees because we love all things French.

We are a leader soccer family, too, so our recessional song was the Champions League theme song. My grandmother, who passed away when I was 16, loved lilies, so we had them everywhere sopra her honor.

Cheers to Kristin + Alex!
