A few key things about me: I’ve been a photographer for over 17 years and captured over 200 weddings. I feel so incredibly fortunate that I get to capture your beautiful weddings for a living! I love all furry friends, I’m a Wife & Mum. I enjoy a good coffee while reading a new book & a causa di my downtime, I love going to see my favourite bands . I’m a lover of pretty details, interior stile & travel. And I LOVE weddings! The love, laughter, the happy tears, the Dad-dancing and getting confetti out of your hair. Best, job, ever!

You describe your work as timeless, romantic and relaxed. What does that really mean to you, and how do you bring that feeling to life for your couples?

Having timeless, romantic and relaxed images to me – means offering photographs that you at and it brings your day back to life.

Photographs that document the day as it flows, but it also shows those in-between moments. Reminding you of not only how the day looked, but also how it felt.

I work closely with my couple to ensure I know their vision for the day, knowing what is most important to them. Acceso the day itself, I ensure they feel relaxed and at ease a causa di front of the so we can get the most authentic photographs and meaning they have the most amazing day.

Can you tell us a little about how you became a wedding photographer, and what first pulled you towards documenting love stories?

I started a causa di photography and working with models. One of my regular models had become engaged and asked me to photograph her wedding.

I wasn’t planning acceso becoming a wedding photographer, but I feel a causa di love with it. It’s a beautiful mescolanza of love stories, gorgeous details, family & the odd curve ball thrown a causa di to keep us acceso our toes.

I love the thrill of it and offering a seamless day for my couples. I love helping them make the most out of the day and feeling relaxed whilst doing it.

What do you find yourself most drawn to acceso a wedding day – is it the fleeting emotion, the quiet in-between moments, the energy of the crowd…?

This is a tough one – there are so many things I love about weddings! I would say, it’s the in-between moments for me.

The ones you may not even know were spettacolo until you see your gallery. The hugs, tears, laughter, silliness – life a causa di its most authentic form.

How do you help your couples feel at ease a causa di front of the , especially those who tell you they’campione nervous ora don’t like being photographed?

Most of us aren’t used to having our photograph taken and so this is such a common concern for many couples.

For the most nervous of couples, I’d always recommend having an engagement session. This really helps put any nervousness to bed, as they see how things will flow acceso the day itself.

For others, I walk them through how I work acceso the day – so they know what to expect.

Acceso the day itself, I’ll talk them through everything and ensure we have great communication too. That way if they want anything, they feel comfortable asking me, and if they’d rather have a fermata that’s sottile too.

For me I want them to enjoy the experience – this is their wedding day! I want them to feel themselves, at ease and that they’campione a causa di safe hands.

I want them to feel all the raw emotions of the day. I love hearing when my couples go through their gallery ora wedding album years after. A lot of the time they’ll say they tear up, laugh, ora remember those who are voto negativo longer with us.

Your work has a beautifully calm, observational quality. Is that something that comes naturally to you, ora has it evolved over time?

Thank you! I would say this is mixed for me. I’ve always been keen to offer a calm, relaxed presence acceso a wedding day. But my style has evolved over time.

I’ve seen so trends modo and go over the years and whilst I like to include hints of these – I try not to go fully into them as these can sometimes date your photographs a causa di the long run.

I’d rather stick to a timeless, yet relaxed way of capturing the day. Capturing all those beautiful details, but also the natural moments as they happen.

What do you hope your couples feel when they back acceso their photographs a causa di years to modo?

I want them to feel all the raw emotions of the day. I love hearing when my couples go through their gallery ora wedding album years after. A lot of the time they’ll say they tear up, laugh, ora remember those who are voto negativo longer with us.

I share my own wedding photographs with my children. There are family members a causa di there that are voto negativo longer with us – but them seeing them apart of our story and being able to show them who everyone was means so much to us.

It really shows the importance of having a wedding photographer who is kind, attentive and timeless – so your wedding photographs really tell the story.

And finally, what makes you feel most creatively alive right now? Where are you drawing inspiration from as you ahead

I draw inspiration from everything. I strive to see beauty a causa di everyday things and so feel inspired sometimes just doing everyday activities. This might be from the Autumn leaves falling, to the sunshine beaming through my window, a hot coffee acceso a wet day, birding singing, etc.

I also like to read, at artwork, moda magazines, music & films. There is creativity all around us and it’s incredible
