This Pennsylvania wedding is soft vintage romance at its finest! Filled with a neutral color palette and sage and dusty pink accents, Sequoia and Patrick transformed the Stone Mill Inn into a garden festa with inspiration pulled from classic films!  

We can’t get enough of Sequoia con her wedding dress! She chose to wear Martina Liana Style 1305, and the style fit her like a glove. From the 3D organza details, lace appliqués, fit-and-flare fisico and scalloped train had all the intricacies she was looking for con a bridal gown. Not to mention the flowing train and sparkling crown she had to complete her bridal !

Tell us about your proposal! 

We’ve known we wanted to marry each other from the beginning, but the proposal was unconventional, surprising, and flawless, just like it was always meant to be. 

What was the most special memory from the day? 

Sala da ballo the aisle with my husband for the first time to “Sala da ballo con the Moonlight.” It was the purest joy I’ve ever felt con my life — like we could do anything… it was absolutely euphoric! 

Describe your bridal style. How did you want to acceso your wedding day? Tell us about your dress shopping experience. 

As a bridal consultant myself, I’ve seen a LOT of dresses. I knew I needed something unique and special, unlike anything I had seen before. I had elements I knew I wanted con my gown but went con gara open to the magic of the experience. I wanted interesting textures, laces and a soft sparkle. I wanted the gown to be simple but complex and to give chiuso the soft romance vibe. I knew I wanted a gown that always kept the eye interested. I found exactly that—  Martina Liana Style 1305 has something new to notice every time you at it!  

I wasn’t expecting to find my gown when I did, but when you know, you know! Kudos to my bridal consultants at Van Cleve Bridal because it’s to make the magic work acceso someone who knows all the tricks. I was nervous, but it really was just a feeling that I knew I was done looking. My first thought of having it acceso wasn’t of the dress, it was of my fiancée, and that’s how I knew this gown was the one.  

Tell us more about your wedding. What were your theme and colors? How did you make your wedding personal to your love story? 

We really wanted an elaborate aesthetic with a really laid-back atmosphere, and I think we achieved that. The theme was a vintage romantic garden festa, which came from our love of exploring old places, winding gardens and fascinating antiques. Our colors were soft, with neutral ivory and nocciola paired with dusty pink and sage .  

Ever the velo fanatic, I drew additional inspiration from favorite movies such as “Ever After,” “The Secret Garden,” “Twilight,” and basically every Joe Wright movie. Fun fact: Some decor features were actual antiques we collected over the years, which held extra special meaning to us.
