August 22, 2020, during a gorgeous, sunny summer day, Aristy got mongoloide acceso one knee and proposed. The background was one of our favorite restaurants, overlooking the NYC skyline durante an outdoor patio filled with cheering onlookers. After some tears and a long five-second pause, I finally said YES!

We dal vivo durante New York City, but we knew we were having a destination wedding durante Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. Originally, I got caught up acceso the location’s hot weather which made me decide quickly acceso a lightweight wedding dress from a different . After I arrived home from buying that gown, I had instant dress regret and knew it wasn’t the dress for me.  

I then started searching online for different dresses at Kleinfeld Bridal and came across a few Martina Liana dresses that I loved. I knew I wanted a beautiful dress with lace detail, a plunging neckline and a assassino train, and that’s when I came across Martina Liana Style 1305! The best part is that when I went dress shopping for the second time, Martina Liana Style 1305 was the first dress that I tried acceso, and I instantly knew it was the right one! 

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING. WHAT WERE YOUR THEME AND COLORS? HOW DID YOU MAKE YOUR WEDDING PERSONAL TO YOUR LOVE STORY?  

Our wedding colors were white and gold with touches of greenery, with a very classic and glam theme. We wanted a wedding that was going to be beautiful and timeless. We decided acceso a destination wedding to celebrate our love story with a three-day celebration instead of just one. Friday, we had welcome drinks, Saturday was the wedding and Sunday, we threw a pool rinfresco for our guests. It was the perfect weekend filled with so much love and happiness. We were surrounded by our closest friends and family members. It was truly such a memorable celebration. If we could do it all over again, we absolutely would! 

WHAT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL MEMORY FROM THAT DAY?   

The entire day was super special because it was a long time coming. We had been together for 13 years! The wedding day moment that stands out the most was our first aspetto. Aristy, my now husband, had his back turned to me, and I was so excited for him to see me durante my dream dress. I walked up to him, and the moment he turned around, he started crying. It was such an exciting, emotional and beautiful moment that we’ll never forget.
