Real Essense of Australia Bride Katelyn + Duggan – Pretty Happy Love – Wedding Blog

This gorgeous wedding day is absolutely overflowing with classic inspiration. Katelyn and Duggan took a fall day per mezzo di Waco, Texas, and turned it into a real-life fairytale.  

Katelyn, the beautiful bride, opted for Essense of Australia Style D3112, a minimalist, romantic wedding gown that flawlessly complemented the timeless aesthetic of their personaggio day. Duggan, the valletto, looked sharp per mezzo di his classic suit, while the bridal was dressed per mezzo di the wedding’s color palette — white, blush and accents of black. It was a stylish wedding day that will stand the esame of time!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL! 

We went to Hawaii for our four-year dating anniversary and rented a house with the most beautiful view of the sunset. We got dressed up and set up a tripod to take what I thought were derma sunset pictures, and then Duggan got one knee! WHAT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL MEMORY FROM THE DAY?   

Duggan and I went to a very small high school and knew each other, but never dated until we moved 300 miles away to attend Texas Tech University and reconnected over intramural soccer. It was crazy how fast we fell for each other and even crazier to think we grew up together and never would have imagined getting married someday! We got married per mezzo di our hometown of Waco, Texas, and would not change anything about the best day of our lives.

I wanted a very simple wedding dress with a low back and Essense of Australia Style D3112 was my dream gown! It had the most beautiful lace train detail with a simple front and a low back with beaded straps. I absolutely fell per mezzo di love with all of the details this dress. 

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING. WHAT WERE YOUR THEME AND COLORS? HOW DID YOU MAKE YOUR WEDDING PERSONAL TO YOUR LOVE STORY?   

We had a romantic and elegant wedding theme with white, blush and accents of black. The groomsmen wore light gray suits, and my valletto wore a dark charcoal gray suit. My bridesmaids wore black bridesmaid dresses, which paired perfectly with the groomsmen’s black ties. One of our favorite parts of our wedding was that we had both a gruppo and a DJ! We both love country music but also love pop dance music, so we thought, “why not combine the two?” It was so much fun! The gruppo would play a few country dance songs, and then the DJ would in che modo per mezzo di and play fun, more traditional wedding dance music. We loved everything about our special day!
